Born in Cincinnati, Robin Adams Przybysz grew up in a family that was involved in the arts, during a time when Cincinnati was experiencing a renaissance in music, visual and performing arts, and television.  Her family’s history in the arts involve acting, modeling, landscape architecture, sculpture, and lithography. Robin developed a career as a contemporary textile/fiber artist and educator.

After receiving her undergrad degree in Fine Arts/Art Education from the University of Cincinnati in 1986, Robin returned in 1991 to serve as an Adjunct Professor for the Art Education Department. She has spent the last three decades teaching art to children Kprep-12th grade, as well as teaching adults weaving at UCSD’s Craft Center. Przybysz graduated with her MFA degree in 2016 from Azusa Pacific University.

Throughout her career, she has been very interactive with collaborative groups such as Art Meets Fashion, combining talents of San Diego’s top of the field artists, fashion designers, documenters, and educators inspiring and engaging the youth of San Diego to join along; Healing Waters, an art for healing project with artist Gerrit Greve and local high school students creating, exhibiting, and auctioning off work where all proceeds were donated to Arts: A Reason to Survive and Family Health Services; and Hats off to Life, working with a local retirement community of octogenarians creating hats to go along with their story of life and having an exhibition for these elderly citizens to walk the runway.  Przybysz interacts with galleries, curators, artists, and patrons of the arts, and involves her students in this interaction of the business and community of art.

Robin has been exhibiting her work and receiving awards throughout the United States and Internationally.
